Seminar on "Imam Hussein (AS) and World Security” held in India

A seminar on “Imam Hussein (AS) and world security” will be held today, July 5, by Imamia Educational Trust in Lucknow city in Uttar Pradesh State, India.  Arshi Reza, head of the organizing committee of the program, said U.P. Press Club will host the seminar.  He said that the program seeks to evoke the objectives of Imam Hussein’s (AS) uprising, “We are committed to applying noble Islamic teachings and following the Imam’s tradition so as to stand up against the threat of terrorism nowadays growing across the nations.”  Director general of the office, Seyyed Ali Hussein Qomi, expressed hope that the seminar would be held with participation of a large number of scholars in the future./129
